Self-AwarenessYou lay your heart out on the floor
For everyone to see
You make a dash to the front door
To escape reality
Vulnerability is the bitter sense we run from
Run fast enough, all pain will be covered ‘n’ lost
But run too slowly, the pain cannot numb
Freedom isn’t liberated; know there’s always a cost
These walls we’ve been wedged between, froze death with frost
People will take you for granted
Don’t be fooled amongst the rest
Be sure not to let your guard down
Every alliance is merely a test
To see if you are watching, to see if you are aware
If you’re observant enough to realize
These so-called friends simply do not care
Live for the wonders; never swerve off life’s track
Selfishness is nature’s way to show Independence is the way to go, when always on lookout for attack.
